tsalagi56 Love this, Z! I used to listen to Hearts of Space a lot on NPR. Great project man! ✨💖✨

Summore Reminds me of places I've never been. Beautiful dreamworld music for deep dark meditations. Calmed my mind, released anxieties before a fulfilling rest. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Tears in Rain.

about

I think most of us can agree that 2020 has been rough. I've been having panic attacks with increasing regularity, particularly at night before bed. My bandmate Bobbi asked me to make her some music to sleep to, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that creating this style of music has significantly helped reduce my stress and anxiety, so I started making tons of it as a coping mechanism.

I've found that a lot of the sleep music online frustrates me in a number of ways- sometimes it's too busy, or too repetitive. Most of it sounds like cheesy spa music, which I find more akin to being in an elevator than any form of zen. I took great care to make sure that this album is tasteful, with minimal distractions. There isn't much that should jump out of the speakers at you and startle you awake. There are lots of blips and bloops but very few melodies, since in my experience, repeating melodies keep me awake. There is a lot of sub bass, which I find incredibly soothing, but some people may consider it a bit abrasive. If you're trying to sleep to this, I recommend a very low volume. (If you're listening out of your phone, the bass shouldn't be a problem anyway.)

This album is almost two hours long and it's a free download. Donations are always appreciated very much, but if this music helps you to sleep, meditate, or just helps calm your crazy brain down, then that is more than payment enough.
